# Top Up & Payment

> Add credits to your Starrise AI account to start making API calls.

Starrise AI uses a prepaid credit system. After you top up your account, each API call deducts credits in real time — chat models are billed per token, while image and video generation models are billed per generation.

## Add Credits

Go to the [Top Up page](https://ai.alad.com/console/topup) in the Console to add credits to your account.

## Supported Payment Methods

* **Credit / Debit Card** — Stripe

## Billing

* Credits are deducted in real time when API calls are made
* Chat models are billed by **token count** (input + output)
* Image and video generation models are billed by **number of generations**
* Unused credits never expire

You can view your current credit balance and usage history in the [Console](https://ai.alad.com/console/topup).
